Are you feeling stuck in your thoughts or caught in patterns that feel distressing or difficult to break? You may notice familiar cycles of harm, chaos, or emotional overwhelm and wonder how to move forward. You do not have to face these challenges alone. Healing begins in a safe and supportive space, one that honors your story and moves at a pace that feels right for you.

I am a master’s-level therapist intern who values compassion, empathy, and curiosity, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I am especially drawn to parts work (IFS), helping clients develop awareness of their inner experiences and the ways different parts of self, influence thoughts, emotions, and decisions. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, with an emphasis on safety, empowerment, and honoring each client’s lived experience throughout the healing process.

Together, we explore how attachment patterns, family dynamics, and relational experiences shape core beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. Therapy with me is a space to share openly what is on your heart while we gently move through challenges together toward greater grounding and authenticity.

Are you wondering how Christianity and therapy blend? If you value faith-integration, let’s chat, and I am happy to incorporate it into sessions based on your leading.  A session could look like faith-based reflection, prayer, or scripture alongside evidence-based therapy to promote spiritual and emotional growth in a supportive space.

Haylee is currently under the supervision of Ashley Baird Urbanski, MA LMFT.

Experience & Interventions

I have experience working with adolescents and women seeking stabilization services, as well as individuals across the lifespan receiving community-based support. My clinical lens is trauma-informed, integrative, and relational. I enjoy sitting with clients using curiosity and compassion to guide exploration and support movement toward safety and healing. I am currently completing my master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, Families, and Children, with training in Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and systems thinking. I am also in the process of training in Brainspotting and continue to integrate parts work (IFS) into sessions.

I am especially drawn to supporting women through life transitions, including college and post-graduate transitions, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and other significant life changes. I also work with concerns related to self-esteem and self-concept, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Additionally, I enjoy supporting couples and families navigating communication difficulties, pre-marital work, blended family dynamics, and family or couple conflict.

Groups

In the late Spring, I will facilitate a compassion-focused therapy group for women in their first year postpartum. This group is designed to offer connection, support, and grounding during the transition into motherhood. New mothers are invited to explore self-compassion, relationships, identity shifts, and the emotional realities of early motherhood in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. You do not have to walk this journey alone, healing and growth can happen in community.

Fun Facts

Outside of my work as a therapist intern, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, and keeping up with my toddler, husband, and our dog, Doug. I value community and connection and believe there is healing in sharing life with others. After recently moving back to Minnesota from Washington State, you’ll often find me exploring local coffee shops, date-night spots, or trying out new hobbies.
